It's time for breakfast in Bouda. People in Nepal wake up really early. By the time it is 5am, the people of Bouda may have already done their circumbulations of the Boudanath Stupa and sipping their morning tea. Mochiko Café is one café found in one of the inner streets within the area of the stupa. It has great coffee and a breakfast menu. But be prepared to wait as they take their time making the bread and eggs. Never be in a hurry to enjoy a morning in Nepal.

Boudanath Stupa

Boudanath Stupa is situated in Bouda, Nepal, unofficially known as "Little Tibet."

Many people do their rounds going around this stupa in a clockwise direction. They also spin prayer wheels (མ་ནི་ཆོས་འཁོར) along the way.

Spinning mani wheels is of special significance. According to Tibetan Buddhist tradition, spinning these prayer wheels is just as useful and good as reciting prayers orally.
